Clear, deep violet red wine, with aromas of blackberry, black cherry, spices and floral notes. Structured, balance and full-bodied, with a long and fresh finish.

Alicante Bouschet (40%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Trincadeira (15%)
Serve at a temperature of 16-18ºC. Decanting is recommended.

After each grape variety was received, the grapes are destemmed and crushed, underwent pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation itself was carried out in “Lagares” and stainless steel vats with temperature control.

The Herdade das Servas Colheita Seleccionada Tinto was partially aged in 2- and 3-year-old French and American oak barrels for 12 months; the rest of the batch was held in stainless steel.

There have been editions of Herdade das Servas Colheita Seleccionada Red since 2001 until 2015.
