Alicante Bouschet 2021
Deep violet-red in colour, with aromas of plum, blackberry and cocoa, complemented by floral notes. Complex, structured, fresh and full-bodied, with smoky notes, rich tannins and a long, persistent finish.
Vineyards planted in red or yellow soils derived from non-calcareous, non-alkalinised materials, including schist and greywacke, benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with significant temperature variations and hot, dry summers.
Following the necessary canopy management throughout the growing cycle, the grapes were hand-harvested at optimum ripeness and transported to the winery in boxes.
The grapes were carefully selected and destemmed, followed by pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation took place in marble lagares and temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, followed by 36 months of bottle ageing in our cellar. In order to preserve its unique characteristics, this wine has not been stabilised and natural sediment may form.
A wine for special moments.
Red meat, game, intense cheeses and sausages.
Between 20 and 30 years, if stored in a dark place with the bottle lying down.
Alicante Bouschet (100%).
Must be served at a temperature of 16-18⁰C. Decantation is recommended.
