Wine – Parcela V

This Plot (V), installed on red soil derived from brown or crystalline limestone, with shale stains, benefits from a Mediterranean climate with high temperature ranges and hot, dry summers.

After careful canopy management during the growing season, the grapes were hand-picked and transported to the winery in small boxes.

The grapes were destemmed and underwent pre-fermentation maceration in marble “Lagares” for 48 hours. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Fermentation itself was carried out in “lagares” of marble and stainless steel vats with temperature control.

After undergoing malolactic fermentation, the wine aged 12 months in 1st and 2nd year French oak barrels. Once bottled, the wine was then aged for a further 36 months in our cellar.
